A Study on the Woman`s Hair Style of the Joseon and Rococo Era

Abstract
The investigated results reveals about the comparative difference between woman`s hair style during Joseon and Rococo era / dynasty respectively. The entire silhouette of etiquette hair style of Joseon Dynasty`s was composited with a triangle on top of inverted triangle and triangle which represents dignity, atticism, upstage coolness and cleanliness. Also, the main principle composition of design was regularity and accuracy, stability, serious and composure. An aesthetic aspect of woman`s hair style of Joseon era was found to be beauty of order and harmony, and in case of visually aspect, stable gorgeous. Further, design structure of Desu and large hair style of Joseon era was triangle structure on the top of triangle, and effect of visually aspect was courteous and high dignity. Hair style high of Joseon era from 1700s to 1750s was about 30cm and raised to higher about 50cm from 1766s. In Rococo Dynasty`s, the entire silhouette of queen grow hair style was composited with inverted triangle on the top of triangle and triangle which indicates mystery, gorgeous, alluring coolness, beauty of illusion, and principle compositions of design was objectivity, simplicity, stability, sense of mystery, sophistication and principles of dynamics in case of aesthetic aspect. Also, design structure of warship and 1760`s hair style of Rococo era was inverted triangle structure on the top of triangle, and effect of visually aspect represented extremes of the formativeness, fantastic effects and beauty emphasize. But, hair high was about 60cm in the 1700s of Rococo era, and lowered about 5cm from 1710s to 1740s, and raised to higher about 70-90cm in 1760s.
